Grenoble

Last Wednesday afternoon we went to Grenoble and visited this old fort and we walked around the old part of town, it was really beautiful! We went to this Arabian bakery and bought a ton of pastries, but they were sooo sweet I could hardly eat half of one! Plus none of them were chocolate and they were to sweet for Nutella so obviously they were only okay. There are more pictures but I'll post them later!

  1. What can I say other than WOW!

It looks like you're taking in some amazing sites.

You're right about the church it is awesome.
The picture you took of the tree lined road is very cool. I think this one may have to end up on your bedroom wall.

I also think you are going to need more wallspace for all the fantastic photos.

    Take care of yourself lovey!

    Happy St. Patty's Day

    Love Mom

  2. Davina,
    These pictures are gorgeous.
Don't mind my ignorance, but what is the significance of the church?? Besides the fact that it is beautiful, and gigantic!!

it looks like you are having a fantastic time! Can't wait to hear more stories.

    lots of love,
    Emma

  3. I never would have imagined Grenoble was so big - wouldn't it be lovely to wake up everyday to a view of the alps? Wait, you are! AH!

It is fantastic that you are able to see something new every week it seems. We will have a lot to show Margot when she arrives but somehow I don't think the Gatineau hills will do much for her!

Arabian pastries? Too sweet and no chocolate - impossible I say! I don't know where you find those around here so it is just as well. Beavertails for Margot when she visits - is that exotic enough?

Emma, Clarissa and I went to Niagara Falls this week and the butterfly conservatory - fun but just not the same as your adventures!

We miss you dolly, so thrilled to share all these experiences, thank you for blogging! Love you, Deb XOXOXO
